"Did I wake you?" Sam asked in a hushed tone as he crawled onto the end of the bed.
"No." Dean whispered with his eyes barely staying open, head rested against the headboard. He reached down and intertwined their fingers and grinned sleepily.
Sam tilted his head, gazing at this beautiful being, wondering how he never saw him like this before. His cheeks were flushed in pink, rosey with sleep, and his hair was ruffled in a cute mess atop his head.
He smiled up at him, "Want me to let you sleep?"
Dean sighed, a grin still lingering on his freckled face, "No, I just . . . . I just want to stay like this."
Sam released his fingers and crawled up to meet his sleep-swollen lips, that opened to taste his own. It was hypnotizing the way his tongue flicked, not fast, not slow. But so perfect he didn't want to break away.
When he reluctantly pulled back, Dean cradled his face with a tender hand and traced his bottom lip with his thumb. His eyes were glowing with the light of the early morning sun.
"I love you."
